Frequently Asked Questions
Our full interactive Help Center and Philatelic Handbook are currently in active preparation. Below is an early preview answering the most common questions from our beta community.
Upload a full sheet, album page, or flatbed scan. Our smart vision algorithms detect individual stamp boundaries, de-skew slight rotations, and generate isolated specimen records ready for cataloging.
By default, your uploads and albums are completely private and visible only to you. You maintain total control and can selectively publish collections or virtual binders to your public Curio showcase whenever you want.
Never. Scans submitted to Oddstamps are processed strictly in volatile memory for real-time vision inference. We never sell your data or license your high-resolution scans to third parties for model training.
The platform is currently operating on a complimentary Beta Preview basis with full access to Studio, Workshop, and Curio features. Any future optional tiers will be announced well in advance.
Yes. Oddstamps adheres to an absolute zero lock-in policy. You can export your catalog metadata and cropped stamp archives at any time—your physical collection belongs to you, and so does your digital archive.
For optimal perforation analysis and sharp zoom details, flatbed scanner passes between 300 and 600 DPI on a contrasting black or white background provide the cleanest boundaries.
